This book is one of my favorite read all time. And I tell you in bullets why:

• I love bands and music. I bet you know that if you’re my avid blog-reader. So I absolutely like this, and of course it started with If I Stay. 
• I love the characters. Adam and Mia, their love story is so beautiful. Full of pain, full of love.
• And yes, this book is written from Adam’s point of view. If I stay is from Mia’s POV. How brilliant Gayle Forman is.
• Those flashbacks, how they used to be. The priceless happy family memories and Adam being the third-wheel. 
• The Shooting Stars band, and their lyrics. 
• I don’t think I can possibly express more how awesome Where She Went is.

• Adam’s Promise:“If you stay, I’ll do whatever you want. I’ll quit the band; go with you to New York. But if you need me to go away, I’ll do that too. .. And that would suck, but I’ll do it. I can lose you like that, if I don’t lose you today. I’ll let you go. If you stay.”
• “Then she lost the battle and started to cry…All my annoyance melted. “You dumb-ass,” I crooned, kissing her on the forehead. “You don’t share me. You own me.”
• “Quitting’s not hard. Deciding to quit is hard. Once you make that mental leap, the rest is easy.”
  “Really? Was that how you quit me?” And just like that, without thinking, without saying it in my head first, without arguing with myself for days, it’s out there.
  “So,” she says, as if speaking to an audience under the bridge. “He finally says it.”  

Yeah, you read it right. We spent our hoildays scaring ourselves to death like what we used to be. But me and my cousin Joan belong to Team Insidious, cuz we were brave enough, I guess. Watching horror movies on holidays, what a nice idea. Slow clap.

Anyhow, I  miss this. I miss my cousins and my tita’s and the bonding. Foodtrip in the morning, videoke madness in the afternoon, yes it was fun, crazy nights! Until dawn. Here are some of our bonding-moment-pics (At my tita’s and lola’s house)

For the past 3 months, DBP became my second family. I love all my boss, same as the way they love me. I’m so thankful to be one of their intern.
